"Once we muster the courage to be completely honest and recognize that we are not engaged, then it's time to exit the party, turn off the tube, leave the activity, and pursue those projects that really feed our soul. When we are enthusiastically pursuing our heart's deepest desires we don't experience boredom(86)." - The Thin Woman's Brain
The hardest time of day for me is at night when I am done with dinner and I am in wind-down mode. I watch some TV or play a game on my phone until I go to bed.
I think that I am going to kill two birds with one stone and eliminate boredom from my evenings when I tend to snack more - and also start my meditation - I have tried to sit still and meditate - that is not feasible right now. I am going to go for a 15 minute, music free run every night before bed. I think this will clear my mind, and aid in digestion.
I will start this on Monday evening, June 2, 2014.
